The Suame Interchange Local Roads Project consists of the construction of three overpasses and one box culvert. The key structures included in this project are:

Solutions
The width of the decks was carefully dictated by the road profile. resulting in a maximum width of 17.90 meters. To accommodate the structural and load-bearing requirements, we adopted a maximum span between piers of 32.50 meters The QUICKSTAGE was employed for slab support on the bridge deck. This system is known for its flexibility in supporting large spans, making it ideal for the maximum span of 32.50 meters between piers. The formwork for the bridge deck also included PERI VT20 and GT24 girders, which were carefully selected based on their load-bearing capacities.
The chosen pier solution consists of multiple circular columns, reinforced by an upper transversal cap beam that supports the deck. This design ensures the necessary strength and stability for the overpasses while efficiently managing the project’s load distribution requirements
The HANDSET Alpha formwork system was integral to the construction of the Bullnose Pier. This system allowed for efficient and easy handling of the pier’s curved and complex structure.
Formwork System: The Quickstage and Handset Alpha systems were utilized for the formwork and shoring of the pier beam. This combined approach allowed the project to benefit from the modular flexibility of Quickstage for vertical shoring, while Handset Alpha was used for the formwork around the beam itself
